Every brand on the truck
Garage door brands we service in Ottawa
Yes, we fix your brand. HUSH repairs every major garage door and opener, from Garaga, Clopay, Wayne Dalton and Steel-Craft to LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Genie. We carry the common parts on the truck, so most repairs are done in one visit.
Do you fix my brand?
Yes. We service every major garage door and opener brand sold in Ottawa, including Garaga, Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Steel-Craft, LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Genie. The common springs, cables, rollers and opener parts ride on the truck, so most repairs are one visit.
The brand on your door rarely changes the fix. A broken torsion spring, a frayed cable, a flat roller, or a worn opener gear is the same repair on a Garaga door as on a Clopay one. What matters is having the right part in the right size, and we stock the parts that fail most. Whatever badge is on your door, you can book a same-day repair for your brand.
Which garage door brands do you repair?
We repair all four brands common on Ottawa homes: Garaga, Clopay, Wayne Dalton and Steel-Craft, plus the builder-grade and discontinued doors in between. Springs, cables, rollers, hinges and panels are industry-standard sizes, so a no-longer-sold door is still fully serviceable.
Garaga (Authorized Garaga Dealer)
Garaga is the Canadian-made brand we install and service most. As an Authorized Garaga Dealer we fit genuine Garaga parts and offer the R-16 insulated models built for Ottawa winters. If your Garaga door needs a new section, see garage door panel replacement, or explore a full new Garaga door installation from $1,500 installed.
Clopay
Clopay is one of North America's largest door makers, common on resale homes across Barrhaven and Kanata. We service every Clopay line, from steel to carriage-house styles, and replace their springs, rollers and dented panels with matched parts.
Wayne Dalton
Wayne Dalton doors use some unique TorqueMaster spring systems built into the shaft. We know how to service them safely, and we also fit standard torsion conversions when an owner wants a more common, easier-to-source setup down the road.
Steel-Craft
Steel-Craft is another Canadian-made brand built for the climate, popular in Orleans and Nepean. We repair Steel-Craft springs, cables and rollers, and stock the weather seals and bottom rubber that wear first in our freeze-thaw cycles.
Which garage door opener brands do you repair and install?
We repair and install LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Genie openers, plus Craftsman, Marantec and Linear units. Logic boards, gear-and-sprocket kits, safety sensors and remotes are common parts we keep stocked, so a dead opener is usually fixed the same day.
LiftMaster (LiftMaster Pro and myQ)
LiftMaster is the pro-grade brand we install most, including LiftMaster Pro models with battery backup and myQ smart control. We troubleshoot myQ connectivity, replace worn drive gears, and handle LiftMaster opener repair in Ottawa from $150.
Chamberlain
Chamberlain shares its platform with LiftMaster, so the same myQ app, sensors and remotes apply. We fix a Chamberlain opener that hums but will not move, replace its logic board, and reprogram remotes and keypads when they stop talking to the motor. See Chamberlain opener repair for common myQ error codes and fixes.
Genie
Genie openers use their own remotes and a screw or belt drive on many models. We carry Genie-compatible gears, sensors and remotes, and handle Genie opener repair for Safe-T-Beam faults, or swap a beyond-repair unit for a new opener installed from $220.
Other openers (Craftsman, Marantec, Linear)
Craftsman openers are rebadged Chamberlain units, so parts are easy. Marantec and Linear are less common but still serviceable, and where a board is discontinued a quality universal opener replacement gets you back to a working, app-ready door.
Do you carry the common parts for every brand on the truck?
Yes. Every truck carries the parts that fail most across all brands: torsion and extension springs, lift cables, rollers, hinges, weather seals, opener gear kits, logic boards and remotes. That stock is why most repairs are finished in a single same-day visit.
Because springs, cables and rollers are sized by the door, not the brand, the same part fits a Garaga, a Clopay or a Wayne Dalton door of the same weight. We match the wire gauge and cycle rating, so the new broken spring repair for any brand lasts as long as the original. For off-track doors, frayed cables and worn rollers, see off-track, cable and roller repair.
What if my brand is discontinued or parts are hard to find?
Almost every door can still be fixed. When a brand is discontinued, its springs, cables, rollers and hinges are standard sizes we already stock. We fit quality universal replacement parts so a no-longer-made door or opener keeps running for years.
The only parts that can be hard to source are matching decorative panels for an out-of-production door. Even then we can replace a single damaged section with the closest match, or recommend a full door when the savings of a repair no longer make sense. You will never get a flat "we cannot help" from us without a real option on the table.
How do I match my brand to the right repair?
Match the symptom, not the badge. A loud bang and a heavy door is a spring; an opener that hums but will not move is the motor; a door jammed out of its track is cables or rollers. Each routes to the right Core repair below.
For a snapped spring on any brand, start with broken spring repair for any brand. For a dead or noisy motor, go to opener repair for LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Genie. For a door off its track, see off-track, cable and roller repair. Replacing the whole door? Compare a new Garaga door installation. Every brand repair is backed by our 90-day guarantee, and we cover brand repair across Ottawa neighbourhoods.
